Jerky Treat Alert  Speaking of dog treats, watch out for those delicious jerky treats made of chicken, beef, and sweet potatoes. According to the FDA, various brands of jerky treats are killing pets, although the exact reason is still unknown. I advise to err on the side of safety and avoid all jerky treats. If your dog has recently eaten jerky treats and may be sick, look for the following symptoms: lethargy, decrease in activity, vomiting, diarrhea, increased water consumption, loss of appetite.
